“There is no such thing as a bad boy. Only bad teaching, bad modeling and bad environment ”
-Father Flanagan of Boys Town
Today's ABA
“Compassion as the 8th dimension makes it clear if ABA practice no longer meets the standards. It forces us to re-evaluate our science and engage in action that centers the needs and priorities of our clients. ”
-A. Penney et al.
“Today’s ABA is not to coerce. It is not to redirect, restrain, or merely manage and modify. It is to understand, share and shape. It is about continually learning the individuals with autism we serve. It involves learning by listening, creating joy, empowering and learn by teaching. ”
-Gregory Hanley
“Creating positive first impression, building trust over time and collaboration with client supersede technical aspects of our work. The heart of ABA delivery is creating connected relationships.”
-Megan De Leon Miller
